We are delighted to re-announce the call for participation in the ACS Institute 2023, which will be held from August 10 to 15 at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Because Taiwan has now opened the border, and we hope to maintain the tradition of the Institute as a weeklong in-person pedagogical program, the event will be held primarily in person. Applications are now reopened. We would be delighted to see you at the institute in August.

Successful applicants will be required to confirm their participation with payment of the registration fees listed below.
Registration
Because Taiwan has now opened the border, and we hope to maintain the tradition of the Institute as a weeklong in-person pedagogical program, the event will be held primarily in person in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Please note that we now accept only in-person participation, with the online option open only for participants with the nationality of the People’s Republic of China who are still banned from entry to Taiwan.
For Hong Kong and Macau citizens, who can now enter Taiwan, please participate in the event in person.
Please note that the fee chart has been revised. There is only one fee category (early-bird fee in the previous chart) for members with different incomes:
Registration Fees for In-Person Attendance:
ONLY for ACS members – 255 EUR
Members of under €10,000 EUR gross income per year – 265 EUR
Members of under €20,000 EUR gross income per year – 280 EUR
Members of over €20,000 EUR gross income per year – 305 EUR
*Fee includes lunch (5x), dinner (2x), coffee, tea
Registration Fees for Online Attendance (only for PRC nationals):
ONLY for ACS members – 190 EUR
Members of under €10,000 EUR gross income per year – 200 EUR
Members of under €20,000 EUR gross income per year – 215 EUR
Members of over €20,000 EUR gross income per year – 240 EUR
*The above fees are inclusive of the applicable ACS membership fees. The ACS membership fee shall be 10 Euros for members of gross income under 10,000 Euros per year, 25 Euros for members of gross income over 10,000 Euros, but under 20,000 Euros per year, and 50 Euros for members of gross income over 20,000 Euros per year. Current ACS members will be eligible for registration fee reductions that match the membership fees above.
*If you are already a member of the ACS, you can register with a discounted price (255 EUR for in-person attendance and 190 EUR for online attendance). Please note that this category is ONLY for those who are current members of the ACS.
